Associate Director, Client Service, S&P Global Commodity Insights
Alejandro Gomez is a Client Service Manager team lead at S&P Global Commodity Insights’ Client service team. He is responsible for directly engaging with customers each day, to help them unlock the value of Platts’ services while delivering best-in-house support on highly technical and specialized product applications. He also leads, mentor and supports a team in multiple regions to help bring best-in-house customer service. His passion for DE&I made him head of the LGBTQ+ resource group in the UK and an advocate for change and cultural transformation, leading a number of strategic projects over the years.
Alejandro was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, coming to the United Kingdom to read Economics at the University of Warwick before moving to London. Prior to joining S&P Global he worked for companies like Dealogic and Dow Jones, where he was able to use his language skills to serve a wide customer audience in Financial Services and Energy markets. A proficient player of violin and viola, Alejandro is an active member of the London Gay Symphony Orchestra.
