Project Manager, S&P Dow Jones Indices
Barbara is an experienced finance professional with broad experience in global business operations, compliance and training. She has a demonstrated ability to inspire and build global cross-functional teams and synthesize information making the complex simple. She considers herself a passionate driver of business goals with an objective to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Barbara currently serves as a Project Manager in S&P Dow Jones Indices overseeing operational transitions and commercial Index package rollouts. In her day-to-day, she facilitates change management processes for web-based applications working with all stakeholders across the Enterprise. She administers Enterprise Program Management application software to aid in workflows and operational reporting. Previously, Barbara managed the Capital Markets Application Development, Training and Support team at Prudential Equity, LLC. Also, she worked as a Research Associate covering Technology companies.
As acting President of the S&P Effective Communicator’s Toastmaster’s Club, Barbara is involved in the S&P Global community. She received an S&P Global Gold ACE Award in 2010, the highest award for corporate recognition. She served as President of S&P Global’s Employee Resource Group WINS, Women’s Initiative for Networking and Success, in 2016. She was a WINS Vanguard winner in 2014 and 2015. Barbara received her Master’s in Elementary Education from PACE University and her BA from State University College at Cortland, majoring in Speech Communications. She received her PMP Certification in 2006, Green Belt Six Sigma in 2010, and became a Certified Scrum Master in 2013.
