Nik Khakee is a senior analyst in Ratings and helps drive criteria development across the various sectors and disciplines. He has led projects to successful outcomes focusing upon nonbank financial institutions including asset managers, finance companies, clearinghouses and exchanges. Nik authored S&P Global’s initial commentary on so-called shadow banks and helps lead S&P Global Ratings Services’ analytic approach to assessment of derivatives risk, traditional, private equity, and hedge fund analysis. Nik received his Master’s degree in Public and Private Management from Yale University’s School of Management in May 1996. He received his Bachelor of Arts from New York University where he graduated with honors. Nik currently serves as the Global President of APEX, one of S&P Global’s Employee Resource Groups.
