Chief Financial Officer
Rick Goldberg is Chief Financial Officer at S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI). Rick is a member of the S&P DJI Operating Committee and works alongside S&P DJI’s senior leadership team to create, drive and implement the division’s business strategy.
With more than 15 years of accounting and financial services experience, Rick joined S&P DJI from S&P Global’s Corporate Finance team, where he served as Chief Operating Officer. Rick has an extensive background in accounting, audit, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), M&A and capital planning.
Rick joined S&P Global in 2011 and has since held various key management and leadership roles within the Finance organization, including at S&P Global Ratings, where he collaborated and worked closely with the division’s Chief Commercial Officer and provided financial guidance and input on the global sales organization’s commercial strategy.
Earlier in his career, he was part of an accounting development program where he held several accounting and audit roles at CIGNA Corporation.
Rick has a graduate degree in business administration from the University of Hartford, as well as graduate and undergraduate degrees in accounting from the University of Connecticut.
