Chief Legal Officer, S&P Global Ratings
Nancy Gardner is the Chief Legal Officer of S&P Global Ratings, where she leads a global team providing legal and regulatory services to the division worldwide. Nancy had most recently served as Chief Legal Officer of S&P Global Market Intelligence from October 2015 to May 2018.
Nancy was previously General Counsel for SL-x Technology, a financial technology start-up. She also served as General Counsel for Thomson Reuters Markets division (now known as Finance & Risk), and held several leadership roles in the Reuters legal department throughout her tenure there. Nancy began her legal career as a corporate attorney at Weil, Gotshal & Manges.
Nancy received a JD degree magna cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center and a BA degree magna cum laude from Duke University.
