Sarah is a purpose-driven leader who has built her career by blending analytical thinking, data-driven decisions and a people-first mentality. In her role as Head of Data & Insights, Sarah oversees a unique set of content and capabilities that drive decisions in the financial markets, fuel growth in big corporations and help inform governments around the world. The D&I business is the data powerhouse for Market Intelligence, with teams focused on datasets as broad as macroeconomics and trade, as deep as industry and company data, and as granular as pricing and valuations for financial instruments.
A seasoned business and content leader, Sarah has led global teams creating pricing benchmarks, data, news and research and served in multiple executive leadership roles across the S&P Global enterprise as a member of the Operating Committees in London, Singapore and Toronto. She has also held leadership roles at Bloomberg, Dow Jones/The Wall Street Journal and produced award-winning programming at CNBC Asia. Through her experience of working in Paris and Milan, Sarah speaks French and Italian. She holds a degree in French Language and Literature from the University of Sheffield, UK.
As the former global chair of S&P Global’s women’s employee leadership network, Sarah is a champion of women’s inclusion in the workforce, helping women leaders advance in their careers. She has supported key DEI initiatives including the launch of S&P Global’s ChangePays campaign that produces research on women’s economic participation and impact.
