Hailey also published a white paper for S&P Global's Sustainable1 that detailed the numerous risks that climate change poses to the insurance industry. The research from that paper was later cited in multiple letters to the Federal Insurance Office regarding requested feedback on climate-related issues and gaps in the supervision and regulation of insurers.
Her coverage also includes a focus on regulatory developments in the insurance space with pieces ranging from longer features to spot news briefs. She writes mostly about companies in the life insurance sector, but also covers the impact of emerging topics of interest such as cannabis and insurtech as well as some property and casualty.
