Bain Capital to buy Frontline from Sterling; Hull Street acquires 4 power plants

– Bain Capital LP agreed to acquire pavement marking services provider Frontline Road Safety from The Sterling Group LP. Harris Williams LLC and Guggenheim Securities LLC are serving as financial advisers and Latham & Watkins LLP is acting as legal adviser to Frontline. Stifel and UBS Investment Bank are serving as financial advisers and Kirkland & Ellis LLP is acting as legal adviser to Bain Capital.

– Hull Street Energy LLC acquired 100% of four New York thermal power plants from J-Power USA Generation LP. The portfolio comprises Edgewood Energy LLC, Shoreham Energy LLC, Pinelawn Power LLC and Equus Power I LP. Troutman Pepper acted as legal counsel to Hull Street. CIBC Capital Markets and Merit Capital Advisors served as financial advisers and Baker McKenzie acted as legal counsel to J-Power USA.

– Brightstar Capital Partners LP acquired aftermarket parts and service provider The W.W. Williams Co. LLC from OEP Capital Advisors LP. Moelis & Co. LLC served as financial adviser and Kirkland & Ellis LLP acted as legal counsel to Brightstar. Robert W. Baird & Co. served as financial adviser and Milbank LLP acted as legal counsel to W.W. Williams.

– Leste Holding LLC agreed to acquire a minority stake in Billor, a vertically integrated freight and fintech platform for US truck drivers.
